Safer Dance - Party Tips

Remedy is a party where you can let your hair down and do your thing!  The party is a safe space so you can dance and express yourself without judgement.
If you are coming to the party, please take the time to read our safer dance - party tips!

  1. Everyone is welcome and everyone is equal.
  2. Self-expression and the freedom to be who you are is at the heart of our party. Please respect pronouns.
  3. Respect people's boundaries and personal space. Ask for consent.
  4. We will not tolerate any forms of discrimination or harrassment.  This includes (but is not limited to):

  • racism
  • sexism
  • transphobia
  • misogyny
  • queerphobia
  • classism and religous discrimination
  • harassment
  • violence
  • intimidation
  • non-consentual touching and any form of physical or verbal abuse will be challenged
If you are experiencing anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, unsafe or unwelcome, please inform a member of the Remedy crew, speak to our wonderful people on the door, speak to security or someone at the bar.
We will do our best to:
  • Provide a quiet space
  • Listen and record what happened
  • Challenge the behaviour and remove the person(s) from the venue.
  • Support you to rejoin the party or get home safely
